Project Overview

Designed and built CITADEL, a Ruby on Rails application serving as a central
server directory, operations hub, and access control gateway for client
infrastructure.

CITADEL provides client-to-system mappings, maintains an inventory of AWS
and GCP instances with associated resource usage, and surfaces real-time
census state and transitions by consuming Kafka events produced by Censify.

Integrated deeply with AWX (Ansible Tower) via custom Rake tasks to
synchronize inventories, manage host grouping, and trigger automation jobs
such as SSH access, server health checks, and disk usage reporting.

Replaced ad-hoc access patterns with governed, role-based, auditable
automation workflows while providing engineers a single operational
control plane for infrastructure visibility and action.
